The National Biodiversity Data Cetnre is located at Beechfield House, Carriganore WIT West Campus, Waterford.

To get to the Centre follow the directions below:

Approaching from Dublin via M9 motorway – Take the first exit after the toll bridge signposted Waterford. The first roundabout you come to will be signposted ‘Waterford Institute of Technology West Campus’. Take the exit into the campus and follow the road straight through the first small roundabout and veering right at the second small roundabout. Follow the road over the hill until you come to a sign pointing left for the ‘National Biodiversity Data Centre’. The Centre is a white dormer bungalow on your right.

 

Approaching from Cork via M9 motorway – Take the last exit before the toll bridge signposted Waterford. The first roundabout you come to will be signposted ‘Waterford Institute of Technology West Campus’. Approaching from Waterford City – Take the Cork Road. At the last roundabout leaving the city (the Butlerstown Roundabout), immediately after Boland’s BMW garage on the left hand side, take the third exit from the roundabout. Go straight through the next roundabout (Old Kilmeaden Rd Roundabout) and on to the next roundabout (WIT West Campus) and take the first exit into the campus.  Follow the road straight through the first small roundabout and veering right at the second small roundabout. Follow the road over the hill until you come to a sign pointing left for the ‘National Biodiversity Data Centre’. The Centre is a white dormer bungalow on your right.
