It was a full house at the Ballybay Wetland Centre for our second #DragonflyIreland workshop of 2019, when we were hosted (and fed & watered!) by Monagahan Co Co Heritage Officer, Shirley Clerkin. Attendees literally travelled from the four corners of Ireland to learn about Dragonfly & Damselfy identification and survey techniques.
After the indoor talks, we headed out to the adjacent wetlands where five species were recorded including brown hawker, common darter, blue-tailed damselfly, azure damselfly and common blue damselfly.
